Accessibility
I believe that the Internet is a powerful tool for community, education, and so much more. In much of—but not all of—the world, the Internet is used on a daily basis for countless tasks: banking, communicating, working, you name it. It's important that these websites are accessible, lest we lock people out of many of the tools that allow for participation in modern society.
I do my best to improve the accessibility of projects when tasked with refactoring them for other purposes, and accessibility is a primary concern I raise early on in the design process. If the final product hasn't made every effort to be accessible, I'm not happy with it.
I have done my best to ensure that this site conforms to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG).
